Powerful magnets hold any metal utensil: The magnets in this knife block ensure that your knives (and any other magnetic metal utensils) are safely secured in an upright position. Please only place knives on the block with handles upward. To remove the knives simply pull the handle upwards so as to not displace the other knives or scrape the knife block. This knife block does not support ceramic knives. Double-sided knife block: Both sides of this knife block are magnetized. This means that the 11.8 inch wide, 8 inch tall and 4 inch deep (at base) knife block can hold knives of all types with blades up to 8 inches long. Knives are not included.
