Handcrafted in Willamette Valley, Oregon, Ferrum’s Reserve 5-Inch Steak Knife features a single bolster handle made from reclaimed 100% real wood Black Walnut-- contoured to fit perfectly into the hand. Each blade is forged from tough American steel, then hand sharpened to a 16 Degree “apple seed” edge for long-lasting cutting performance. This steak knife’s sharp blade has incredible edge retention and the average home cook should only need to sharpen once a year. The Reserve Collection is ideal for home use or for chef’s in a commercial setting. Each knife is hand touched to be rounded—no sharp corners makes them comfortable for all day use. The Reserve Collection is designed with a Single Bolster for Pinch Grippers (used most often by professionals---you grip the back portion of the blade as well as the knife handle) and feels very comfortable in the hand.
